If you're tired of spreadsheets, if Excel doesn't meet your business needs anymore, if it's too hard and time-consuming to enter financial data every week in a document, and if you can't keep track of your past data, you've come to the right place. Get ready to start your ThinkOut journey! It's going to be an interesting one. Sure, maybe financials aren't fun, but that doesn't make them any less thought-provoking :)

So, let's get you started!

How do I create my account?

Firstly, you have to register on our platform by filling in the sign-up form. After submitting it, you will receive a validation email; after you confirm your email address, you'll be ready to log in

On your first login, you'll have to get through the onboarding process. Our recommendation is not to skip these steps because there is some useful information for you. If you will carefully read each screen, you'll get the basic explanations about our platform and how to make the best out of its cash flow analysis.

You can also observe the chat icon on the right bottom of the page. If you have further questions, you can always drop us a line through Intercom and we'll be more than happy to help

It's the first time I am using ThinkOut. What should I do now?

After you've carefully read the onboarding steps, you should go to the Accounts. Why is that? Well, to use ThinkOut at its full potential, you have to link your bank account. We will import your transactions from the past few months and we'll make sense out of them, based on cash flow analysis. Alternatively, you can create a cash account and import external files such as bank statements or manually add data.

Before moving forward, we think it's safe to say that if you're concerned about the security of your data, you should not worry. We will not make use of your personal information in any other way than stipulated in the Privacy Policy. We recommend reading it before signing up to ThinkOut.

OK, I imported the transactions from my bank accounts. What next?

After the connection is successfully finalized, you'll see a summary of the imported transactions.

You can go to Transactions where you'll find the list of transactions that are automatically assigned to predefined Inflows and Outflows categories. You can easily change the category or your transactions and modify the entire category structure based on your business needs.

You can choose to see the Cash Flow plan or the Dashboard, where you’ll find your company’s money flows for the past months and various business KPIs. Create a budget and start planning future transactions, draw conclusions based on your past financial activity and try to make future business plans according to the interpreted data.

You can invite your team to work with you on the same ThinkOut account. Also, if you need to manage multiple companies, add them one by one and plan the cash flow separately for more clarity.

These are the first steps you should go through in order to see how ThinkOut can make the entrepreneurial journey easier. It will surely not be like a cool breeze on a hot summer day, but something somehow close to that :)

For any other information about our cash flow platform, check the Help Center here on Intercom, drop us a line through the in-app chat or simply email us at support@thinkout.io. We'll happily answer you as soon as possible.
