The budgeting section from ThinkOut went through a little improvement process in order to be easier for you to create and track your estimations vs actuals.

What is new?

New design

Now it's easier to visualise the forecasts, the predictions and the actuals from your bank account.

  • the dotted area represents the total value of your estimations, added per each month;

  • the shaded area represents the total value of your predictions. You can choose to opt out the predictions from your results.

    If you want to read more about the difference between budget estimations and cash flow predictions, check the article;

  • the filled in area represents the total value of your actual transactions from your bank account.

New icons

This icon says that you cashed in more than budgeted or cashed out less than budgeted.

Category structure

By default, in Budgets, ThinkOut included just a part of the category structure that is available for your cash plan. That is because most of our users estimate on a macro level and don't need a lot of granularity here.

Based on your specific needs, you can choose to eliminate or add more categories from your standard category structure.
